Q: How do I know what kind of care I need?

A: During the intake process, we ask the critical questions to match the right level of care community.

Q: What does it cost?

A: The cost varies based on the kind of community as well as the room type and level of care. After meeting with the sales director, they will usually give you an accurate pricing range.

Q: What are the right questions to ask during a tour?

A: Money will be part of the conversation at some point. However, during the tour ask questions that are most important to you, i.e. dietary and activity preferences, etc. I will also help guide the conversation at times when necessary since this is an important part of how I will be helping you.

Q: How do I know it is the right time to make a move?

A: There is never a right time to make a move. It can also be daunting when thinking about the possibility of making a change. However, I will aide you on the merits of making the transition.

Q: What do I need to do to help look for a community?

A: Once we have a discussion on what you are looking for as well as your priorities, I will make all the arrangements with the communities directly. Before I do, I will make sure to go over with you on why these could be great fits.

Q: Does insurance pay for anything?

A: Insurance is usually not the primary payer source, but it can assist. If you or your spouse is a Veteran, the VA can help. Medicaid can also help depending on your finances.

Q: How long will I be locked in once I sign a contract?

A: Most contracts are month to month. If you wanted to relocate, you would need to give the community a thirty day notice.

Q: How does the intake process work?

A: We start with a conversation about what you are looking for. Do not worry, if you are unsure, we can talk through it. After getting to know you more, I will put together a list of potential communities to tour. After those tours, we will sit down to discuss what is the best fit.

Q: What if you are looking at communities not in the Greater Tampa Bay Area?

A: We are willing to travel to an extent to help all of our families. If the distance becomes too far, we will make sure to still be able to make the introductions and connections to assist.

Q: How soon do I have to make a decision?

A: When you are ready to go to a community, we can make it happen. However, sometimes it is better to be proactive for your health and so you can be in the most ideal room/community setting.

Q: How do you know if you are in good hands?

A: My family are some of the first people I helped find senior living and I will treat you the same way.

Q: How much do my services cost?

A: This does not cost you anything. There is only a fee I make from the community you choose.

Q: When are you available to help and tour communities?

A: I will amend my schedule and time to what you need.

Q: Do you have to pick a community once you start the process with me? 

A: You are not obligated to move anywhere. We can start and stop the process at your pace.
